Hello Robert,
I am the daughter of Joe and Marilyn Hare who owned 60 Puako Beach Road.
My father, Joe Hare gave me the oil painting you painted of the house..after my Mom’s death in 1998. He had suprised Mom with it on some special occasion. My Father, Joe, has now passed.. I am so attached to the painting..as my Dad did sell thePuako house upon my mothers’ sickness.. about 14 years ago..
any history you can give me to attach to the painting ?..and keep the “love alive”
I live in the East Bay.. CA…and we continue to vist Puako..we we just there renting # 36 Puako Beach Road..it was so perfect!!!
I look forwad to hearing from you
I can take a picture of my painting and email it to you..
What an amazing surprise to see your comment here! I was just talking about my studio in Puako to my wife and how much I loved and missed it. Your Father was a great guy and he was so excited to commission the painting of the house at 60 PBR.
I had a lot of fun doing the painting and often think of it. It’s so wonderful to see that you still have it after all these years. So sorry to hear of your parents passing, time does fly by.
I’m also in the Bay Area and would love to see the painting if it’s possible (no worries if not) I’m in San Jose and I come up to the city at times. Let’s stay in touch and if seeing the painting in person is not possible and picture would be awesome.
Best,
Robert

Hi…I am Janis Murphy’s brother and joe and Marilyn’s oldest son. I am so excited my sister found you…mom and dad loved your painting. Janis has it prominently displayed in her house and it brings back so many wonderful memories! Do you have a gallery in San Jose? I would love to see your work. I bet you might have some memories of mom and dad and would love to have you share them with us kids.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks. Mike Hare
